Solution
The error "The POSPCCBACKUP DB is not updated to the latest update...Exiting ." might be due to incomplete execution of the script files during upgradation process. As such, please do the following and check:
a) Take full backup of POSPCC and POSPCCBACKUP databases
b) Upgrade SQL Server 2000 to higher version (viz., 2005 or 2008 or 2012)
c) Re-run the script (EXL) files, POSPCCBACKUP20032016.exl, SP_V44_Billing_POSPCCBACKUP20032016.exl and SP_V44_POSPCCBACKUP20032016.exl, which will be available in '\\SpeedNet\DB Scripts' folder of the Client machine from which the SpeedNet 4.4 upgradation was attempted Note: If you have upgraded SpeedNet Client from Server machine, then the DB Scripts will be available in '\\SpeedNet\DB Scripts' folder of Server machine
d) Check the log file generated after script file execution
e) If log file generated has same errors, then please do the following:
i) Download attached zip file and unzip it
ii) Take full backup of POSPCC and POSPCCBACKUP databases
iii) Run the script files, POSPCC30032016.exl, POSPCC_COM_30032016.exl, SP_V44_POSPCC30032016.exl, POSPCCBACKUP30032016.exl and SP_V44_POSPCCBACKUP30032016.exl using Meghdoot ScriptTool.exe
iv) Check the log files generated after execution of script files
v) If the script files executed successfully, then proceed further and check the SpeedNet Login and all options
Note:
1) If you have upgraded SpeedNet Client from Server machine, then the DB Scripts will be available in '\\SpeedNet\DB Scripts' folder of Server machine.
2) Please ensure that SpeedNet / SpeedNet Communication (and also POSPCC / POSPCCBACKUP database) is not in use in any machine and then execute the script file.
